Not every business needs to be torn down to the studs to work better. Sometimes the right moves are more surgical - targeted plumbing and electrical upgrades that let you run the equipment your operation actually needs, paired with cosmetic updates that make the whole space feel intentional. That's exactly the kind of work we did here for a PJ's Coffee location in New Orleans.
The back-of-house situation told the real story. The prep kitchen and service counter needed new plumbing and electrical runs to support updated machines - a cold brew setup, a granita machine, espresso equipment. Getting that infrastructure right is what makes the front-of-house look and function the way it does. Nobody sees the rough-in work, but everybody benefits from it.
On the customer-facing side, we freshened up the paint throughout, updated the fixtures, and polished the concrete floors to bring out that rich, warm tone you see across the dining room. The beadboard wainscoting along the lower walls gives the space some texture and keeps things from feeling too plain. Small details, but they add up fast.
The bathrooms got attention too - clean, functional, and up to code with proper grab bars and updated fixtures. It's the kind of thing that often gets overlooked in a renovation budget, but it matters to customers and it matters to inspectors. We don't skip it.
This is the kind of work we do well - commercial interior renovation that improves how a space runs day-to-day without shutting a business down longer than necessary. If your space has layout problems, aging utilities, or just needs a refresh, we know how to get it done right.
